Spring is the best time to gather data because you have a fresh baseline from the winter.
Track five things: fairways hit, greens in regulation, putts, up-and-downs from within thirty yards, and penalties. A scorecard and a pencil are enough.
Compare to the bay
If you worked on wedges and your up-and-down percentage rose, the work paid off. If putts per round stayed the same, check your putter length.
Bring the card to your next session. It is more useful than a swing video.
