About Ellis
A short season is a long time to wait.
The winters
Eleven winters of watching members forget how to swing convinced Ellis that the off-season was the problem, and indoors was the solution.
Broadway
The center took a second-floor space above a storefront on Broadway in 2003. The first bay had a net and one monitor. The second came in 2011.
Today
Two bays, a service bench in the back room, and a diary that fills most weeks from November to March. The summer is quieter, which suits the golfers just fine.
